Destination Wedding | Allison & Randy

Alright…… this is my first official destination wedding. The Outer Banks North Carolina in February. Didn’t know quite
what to expect weather wise but I knew I had to get some photos of the ocean one way or the other. Well I did get some
photos of the ocean but in Manteo, North Carolina, where the wedding took place, the small island town is not on the ocean
but on the sound. I didn’t know what to expect of the town of Manteo but I’ll tell you…. it is i really great little coastal community. Everyone I came we came across was friendlier than all get-out and when I say we….. I mean Amy ( my wife )
and I. Ame used a couple of her vacation days and came with me for a mini vacation and I know for certain she had a better
time than she expected she would. The first couple pix you see below are of me. One at the ocean and one at the sound. I
really love the shot of me on the decking at the sound. That long shadow of mine just makes the shot! Good job Ame!! Anyway,
we both had a truly fantastic little getaway although Ame asked me what I thought the girls were doing ” Right about now”
about 14 thousand times. Rowan & Mazlyn, our daughters. Ok…. Allison & Randy….. again thank you for allowing me to
photograph your wedding. I mean this when I say it was truly a pleasure and Amy thanks you as well cause she’s
been researching Outer Banks beach rental houses ever since we’ve been back. You guys were fantastic and thanks for
running all around town for me at sunset! You know I had take advantage of the beautiful setting. Oh & Randy I didn’t
mention this at the wedding but you really share an uncanny resemblance to Woody Harrelson of which I didn’t even
notice until looking at the photos. I’m sure you’ve probably heard it before. Thanks again you guys and I hope you had
a blast in Hawaii!!!

Kelly & Andrew

This is probably the coldest engagement session I have done. Usually I can get by without gloves or even a hat but this time,
I was freezing. And while I’ve got my North Face sweater, winter gloves and hat on Kelly & Andrew were serious troopers!!! They
drove all the way down from Dayton so this session was going to get done one way or the other. Thank you Kelly & Andrew for
being easy going and I really like the way the photos turned out. We were able to get the shots with no discernable blue lips or breath exhales. Looking forward to May 10th you guys!!!

Julia & Jerry 1.19.08

I knew when Julia & Jerry came in from New York to finalize their wedding plans and meet with me that these two were just genuinely themselves. What a great first wedding of the year for me. Although it was bitterly cold out this event was really really
warm and festive. Very easy couple to photograph as well in both formals and especially candids where they just let it all hang
out and did some serious celebrating with their family and friends. They had me until 10pm but honestly I didn’t want to leave
cause I wanted to see what would happen next. The dj was spinning real vinyl and everybody was dancing so frantically that
the floor was shaking like crazy and skipping his records. He just kept looking at me, smiling and shaking his head. Julia & Jerry I hope you guys had a blast in Hawaii and thank you again for allowing me to photograph your wedding. I really had a lot of fun
and by the way Jerry………. your brother ROCKS on guitar!!!!!!!!
