February / March 2008 issue of Modern Bride

Alright, I had to do it and so what if I am bragging a little…….. hey I’m proud of my work and when it gets published in a national y known magazine then it’s certainly blog worthy right? Anyway, the Feb / March 2008 issue of Modern Bride Magazine did a story on one of my brides for their ” Real Brides ‘ series which features my photography so I wanted to share. I think the lady at the bookstore thought I was a bit strange when I plopped 5 copies of Modern Bride down on the counter with a big smile on my face!

Farewell 2007!

Well today is the last day of 2007 and for me….. this year’s been a good one! Moved into a new house, my wife and I had another beautiful baby girl and had a really great time shooting all of weddings we did this year and met some truly fantastic people of whom I will not soon forget. Thanks to all of you who chose us to photograph your weddings this year and hang out with your closest family and friends! It’s truly been a pleasure! Thank you Larry, Taren, Sarah and Jen for contributing to the success of White Photography by lending your unique photographic skills. I’m really excited about 2008 because I know our images are
only going to get better and better! WE ARE YOUNG…….. so just imagine all of the changes and innovations in modern photography that we’ll get see and take part in. That’s what excites me the most! I felt since this was my last official entry of 2007 that I should also post some of my favorite images of the past 6 months. Enjoy!

Jenny & Billy Wedding

WOW……. these people know how to get down and party!! I knew it was going to be a good reception when the groom’s father was calling everyone over to do shots of tequila! What a gorgeous couple I mean look at Jenny, she is absolutely stunning! Seriously! As we were shooting I knew these photos were going to be fantastic! Thank you so much Larry & Jen! I couldn’t
have done it without you but seriously……… you missed an absolute blowout of a reception!!!!!

Jennifer & Jason Engagement Pix |

I recently photographed Jen & Jason on a brisk & deceptively chilling December morning. Now that pretty much all the leaves are off the trees & everything is devoid of color and stark looking, I had fun playing with composition a bit more especially with my new fish-eye lens which I really really like so far! Jen & Jason, I will always think of you guys when I see that Old Tyme outdoor amphitheatre. Bravo!!!

Jenny & Brian Sand Wedding

When Jenny & Brian told me some friends of theirs had a house and yard that would be good for taking photos they weren’t kidding! This house was awesome! It sits in Northern Ky overlooking the Ohio River and it truly feels like your in the Hollywood Hills, which I have been to so the comparison fits. Beautiful sunny fall day, fantastic colors down through the valley towards the river and we were just running around shooting as much as possible just trying to capture some of the Awe’ness that surrounded this place. Jenny & Brian, thank you so much for letting us capture your wedding day. We are still talking about it!
